BCI hosts 4,000 messenger of good news
More than 4,000 paintings have been drawn and recorded to help orphans in the pavilion of BCI in the 25th International Qur'an Exhibition.

TEHRAN, (BCI) - According to the Public Relations Department of BCI, the charity participated in the 25th International Qur'an Exhibition in the group of NGO (by #I am dandelion) and the closing ceremony with numerous achievements was held on Friday (June 16th).

Widespread welcome of the visitors to this exhibition resulted in a praise from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. The charity was one of the most prominent pavilions in exhibitions of Qur'an, and more than 4,000 kids recorded their works on this pavilion.

 

 

Each child could have sent a kind message to the children who are deprived of having father. In this pavilion, by providing painting tools and necessaries, they were asked to draw a painting to the orphans, to make their hearts happy and joyful. The purpose of this work was to attract the attention of people, especially children, to the orphans and helping the needy. Each child has received a gift from the BCI after drawing their paintings.

More than 4,000 children aged five to fifteen who visited the pavilion will be members of the club named  "Messengers of Kindness" and will promote the culture of philanthropy in the community.

Top paintings will be selected and published among the works and will be given awards. Some of these works will also be sent to the children supported by BCI.

More than 170 "Money saving boxes" were sold, each for 100,000 Rials, for contributions as a plan to provide the children of the orphans supported by the BCI. Ever year in September,, about 4,500 bags and packs of stationery are provided for the students before the start of the schools.

Sponsors can participate in this project by depositing to the account number of BCI to provide the necessary supplies for the students in need. The benevolent ones bought each package for 1.100.000 Rials  and donated to the children supported by the institute .BCI supports 7000 deprived children in 5 provinces of the country.


The 25th International Fair of the Holy Qur'an started on May 29th with the presence of Mr.Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mr.Ali Akbar Salehi, Vice President and Head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, Mr.Ashraf Boroujerdi, Vice President and Head of Documentation and Library, Mr.Hamid Mohammadi, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization. The exhibition started at Tehran's Mosalla place and lasted until June 25th.
