112 laptops and 131 tablets were donated to the children of Bootorab in Khoy city

According to the public relations of Etrat Bootorab Institution, following the donation of one thousand laptops and one thousand tablets to the children of Etrat Bootorab Institution, a ceremony was held in Khoy city with the presence of provincial and city officials. 225 laptops and 311 tablets were donated to the children of Bootorab in West Azerbaijan Province, of which 112 laptops and 131 tablets were donated to the children of Khoy.

Sahandi, director general of Imam Khomeini Relief foundation, said in this ceremony: 'Currently, 12,200 students in the province are covered by this institution, 4,000 of whom need all kinds of teaching aids to study in Corona.

He added: 'With the help of Etrat Bootorab Institution, the Foundation for the Underprivileged and institutions  and the Relief foundation, 1,500 needy students worth 55 billion Rial worth of educational aids, including tablets, laptops and smartphones, have been provided and donated to this organization.

Javanshir, CEO of Etrat Bootorab Institution, also said at the ceremony: 'In the first phase, this institution tablets and laptops were given to 2,000 students in 7 province, and in February in the second phase to 2,000 students in need were given other tools and equipment.

Nazar Alilou, director of education in Khoy city, said at the ceremony: 'In Corona, out of 64,000 students in this city, 80% have access to intelligent teaching aid tools and facilities, and more than 13,000 students do not have these tools. We need the support of charities and benefactors to provide these tools.’

Hojjatoleslam Shakoori, Leader of congregational Friday prayer in  Khoy, praised the charities and charitable organizations and emphasized the need to preserve the dignity and human values of the needy and the poor, and said: 'The needlessness of society in Corona should be a priority in government and parliamentary programs.'

The governor of Khoy, Abbasi, also emphasized the need to organize charitable donations to support the vulnerable sections of society, including students in corona conditions.
