From the heart of deprivation to the height of honor

In this year's national entrance examination, 6 of Bootorab's children shone with double and triple digit ranks despite all the deprivations and became the pride and joy of the institution. Ashkan is one of the 6 proud children of Bootorab Institution, who has been ranked 164 in humanities field in the 1401 national exam.

For some reasons he was not able to attend the camp of ranks under 1000 and participate in the opening ceremony of Bootorab educational complex in Khoi city, attended the head office of the institution a few days later and we had an opportunity to have a sincere conversation with him.

Last year, on these days, we hosted Afshin, his older brother, who had achieved the 56th rank in the humanities entrance exam.

We hear the text of this interview from Ashkan, a young man from Bootorab.
I am Ashkan, 18 years old, the second child of a family of three. I live with my mother and brother in one of the villages of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad province. A deprived village with twenty people and minimal facilities.

 As a person who was born and grew up in difficulties, I was able to get the 165th rank in the field of humanities in this year's national exam. 

My childhood passed with many hardships, not having proper housing and living in an old house with minimal facilities and enduring poverty and difficult living conditions are among the problems of my life, but all these hardships and problems strengthened my spirit of effort and strengthened my will. I used this situation as an opportunity to achieve the best. Four months before I was born, I was deprived of the blessing of having a father, and my mother was both father and mother for my brother and me.

Since I was a child and at the beginning of my education, I was a studious and hardworking person, and on the way to study and achieve my big goal, I faced many hardships. During my first and second secondary school, I had to cross two rivers to get to school. The days were hard and exhausting, but the sweetness of reaching the goal that motivated me to endure hardship made these difficulties pale in my eyes. I always wanted to be a successful and useful person in the society and I worked diligently to achieve this goal. My mother and brother were always and everywhere my biggest supporters and encouragers in my studies.

 My biggest goal in life is to be a useful and influential person in the society and to be able to help the poor, orphans, and the deprived, and by continuing the path of Bootorab Institution, I will respond to their endless kindness and care.

I owe my success today primarily to the incomparable grace and care of God, and then to the support of my mother and brother and the generous kindness of Bootorab Institution, which I was able to progress and obtain this rank by taking advantage of the educational facilities, including the GHalamchi scholarship.

My older brother got 56th rank in the national exam last year and is studying in the field of judicial science. I also like to study in the field of judicial sciences and I will continue my studies as long as I can.
From my point of view, success is reaching the desirable and desired position in every human’s mind, and I am thankful for the position that I have and I consider myself a successful person.

I ask my Bootorab brothers and sisters that difficult conditions do not hinder your progress and growth. Make opportunities out of difficulties and strive to achieve your goals and dreams. Hope for the future and be sure that you will achieve success with effort and hope.
