PR. of Bootorab Charity. The first period of trips to Mashhad had begun in mid-september for the children supported by Bootorab Charity. This period lasted 22 days and 1700 boys and girls aged 12-17 years were participated. These children were set off in 5 groups; the first group was for 300 boys from West Azerbayjan province, the second was 280 girls from Kohgiluye and BoyerAhmad, the third one was 380 girls from Kohgiluye and BoyerAhmad, Ilam and Kermanshah, the 4th was for 300 girls from West Azerbayjan and Chaharmahal Bakhtiyari, the 5th was for 380 boys from Kohgiluye and BoyerAhmad, Ilam and Kermanshah. Every group has settled in Mashhad for 4 nights. It is worth noting that encouraging and strengthening the spirituality of children and also spending a splendid time was the main purpose of the trips. All these children were visiting Mashhad city and the holy shrine of Imam Riza for the very first time. Many enjoyable programs were set to make the children happy; like visiting holy shrine of Imam Riza, museum, Prof. Bazima’s scientific park, aqua park and amusement park. A photo of each child as a memorial and the packs of gifts and souvenirs of Mashhad city were prepared and delivered to them. The results of questionnaires taken from children shows that they were so happy and satisfied with the residence, quality of food, the behavior of coaches and the staff of charity and all the programs. Bootorab Charity has spent more than 145000 dollars for the first period of trips. The other ones of 6500 children supported by charity will be set off to Mashhad in the next periods. Mothers will accompany the children under 9 years old.
